Thank you Martha for my new Tort Carriers!
I am exceptionally proud of
Bastet's Vinessee' this year!
She too is an F1 SM who won BOS in 2004, showed well in 2005 and still managed to place in the top half of her class in 2006.  She not only survived the fire, but she kindled two kits that night and raised them with out skipping a beat.  She is proof to all that some SM's do carry enough mane into adulthood and after multiple litters to still be competitive!  Way to go Vinessee'!

Bastet's Bunnies entered a total of 43 Lionheads into the show this year.
A few were left at home at the last minute and
scratched For Sale Bunnies utilized their coops.

Almost all of the Jrs. were scratched because silly me didn't
realize the weight on the Standard had been increased.
Some did end up going across the table and were DQ'd for not having a break
and for still being a bit too wooly.   We did manage a 4th & a 7th place however.

18 of the 22 Seniors entered were in the top ten of their classes.
1 placed in the top half of the class

Not bad for an overall comeback after last year's disaster.

Bastet's Bunnies ... a Testament to solid bloodlines, hard work and faith.

Plans for next year ... to compete in Torts.  : )
Keep your eyes on the nestboxes!
Almost everyone is now bred.

We're Finally Home!
After two weekends of back to back National Shows ... we're finally home, unpacked and settled back in.
Val's hates having her picture taken but ah ... I caught her by surprise!  I have to extend my sincerest thanks to her.  She helps out every single day in the rabbitry and I'm not sure what I'd do without her!  Love ya Val!

BTW ... she celebrated her 17th Birthday
on Saturday at Nationals!
